You’re Invited!  We invite people of all ages to become a member of the Camano Island Library Friends!  Come to a meeting to see how you can help make a difference and learn what’s going on.

 

Where?  Camano Island Library:   Community Room

When?   7-8pm every 4th Thurs of the month with some holidays observed.

RSVP?     Just show up!

In a nutshell, meetings are an opportunity to learn what’s going on!    A meeting is presented by a President, V. President, Treasurer, Advisory Board, with people notated to motion a decision and to 2nd the motion.  Then a vote to approve the motion is professed with the moment to account for anyone who does not approve.  The meeting reviews and discusses old & new business.  New suggestions are welcome for implements or future events/speakers. Some meetings have special guests!

Topics usually discussed are primarily based on how we can help the community some examples are the following:

Rock’em Sock’em Reading Program

Outreach for Community Social Events

Library Reading Programs

Giving…The Camano Island Library Friends is a non-profit 503-c group that qualifies for tax-deductible donations.  Through monetary donations, we are able to give back to the community.
